When reading USA Today I saw a article, Navy base didn't consider Navy Yard shooter a threat; mentioning how the Navy base of Newport, R.I. didn't seem to find the alleged shooter a threat, but they fail to mention that he was insane. Some say that he mentioned people talking to him from the ceiling of his hotel room and when questioned by police officials back in August, he told them that unknown people were trying to prevent him from sleeping and were sending "vibrations" through his body. If that doesn't sound insane what does? How can highly trained officials ignore the signs that they are training a insane man to kill (protect us). There is even a statement about how he went to the hospital in August "TWICE" for insomnia, because his work load was to heavy. Excuse me? Your work load is too heavy?, you knew what you were getting into before signing up. You weren't forced into the Navy, so if you thought you couldn't handle it why try. The main concern is why didn't the officials find him as a threat and what's going to happen to them after a partially insane man has killed twelve people?
